Overview

Mentoring future leaders who have a high potential to excel in management is an important offering by the Dr. Pritam Singh Foundation towards fulfilling the Foundation’s purpose of taking Dr. Pritam Singh’s legacy forward and serving the larger society. Mentorship will be theme-based, with a short engagement around an agenda, helping the mentee find a way out using the direct knowledge-based experience and expertise of the mentor.

A typical mentorship engagement will involve a senior leader identifying a high-potential mentee with a broad mentorship theme based on which one of the foundation’s mentors can be paired for a 90-day engagement in virtual or in-person mode. A typical session between the mentor and the mentee will be an hour to 90 minutes and the typical frequency is once a fortnight.

A typical high potential mentee will be in their thirties or early forties and identified by the organization for significant elevation of responsibilities that would take them to CXO or CXO minus one levels.

Testimonials

Mentorship program undergone with Mr. Patnam Dwarakanath had a significant impact on my professional and personal growth. It helped me establish a sense of going back to my purpose, building a connection, receiving guidance and support, specific to my needs like keeping a high self-esteem, practicing the art of tough love, difference between speed and agility and many other crucial aspects of being an efficient leader. It provided me with a safe space to have an open and honest dialogue with no inhibitions, which created a positive atmosphere and thus enhanced my overall learning experience. Regular catch ups also helped me in clarifying doubts on the way while facing practical challenges in the lessons learnt. I would highly recommend Mentoring program for professionals who multitask, manage diverse stakeholders, dynamics, portfolios in an everchanging scenario.

I was fortunate to be part of the pilot batch of the Mentoring Program journey initiated by Prism Foundation. As the discussions and my relationship with my mentor evolved, I benefitted not only on my professional front but it helped me with a totally different perspective about my overall well being. I am applying the learnings since then and the take aways from this short association with my Mentor has been beyond my expectations.

My heartfelt gratitude to the people behind this initiative.

It’s been a journey of self-reflection, bringing the focus on strengths and fine tuning it in the context we operate to make an impact”. I cannot thank Dwarakanath Ji enough for his valuable time and insights. Thank you for being authentic and creating a safe space for me to reflect and learn.
